dade: roblox is no more
Today we’re releasing Trailer 2 — a final look at how far we pushed Roblox.
It’s the most polished version of DADE we ever built… and also the clearest proof of the engine’s limits. Even at its best, the platform struggled: heavy lag, memory spikes, and constant performance drops.
After months of testing, we’ve accepted the reality: Roblox can’t support the scale, systems, or fidelity DADE demands.
Rather than ship a compromised experience, we’re ending development of DADE on Roblox and shifting our focus to a new project built around what the engine can do — tighter, smoother, and releasing much sooner.
Meanwhile, work continues on the Unreal Engine version of DADE, our flagship project with far fewer boundaries and the freedom to create the experience we originally envisioned.
Thank you for the support. More on what’s next soon. — Shutout Studios
